A New and Improved Blog ~ Coming Soon!
Now, almost three years old, and recently celebrating 100,000 visitors, this blog has grown to more than 260 entries covering almost two dozen destinations. It also includes over 100 posts on photo tips, thoughts on photography and reviews on books and useful camera equipment.
I first began this blog as a way to share my experiences and beauty of the land made during a single six week photo assignment at Badlands National Park in North Dakota. From the great response, comments and questions I received on the blog during that assignment however, and the joy of coming to know many blog visitors, I was inspired to continue.
Because of how the blog has evolved and now, its large size, it will benefit from a redesign. A new design and layout that keeps it from becoming unwieldily and, one that makes it easier for visitors to locate subjects of interest or destinations from previous posts all of which are as relevant today as when they were written.
I am now in the process of reading every post (nearly 150,000 words!), dividing them into categories to make them more searchable, reorganizing the content and redesigning the layout. This will most likely take until mid- to late November to complete. Once this is finished, I will be back publishing new articles and photos. Until then I hope you’ll take time to explore the blog, read some of the older and newer articles and enjoy the images of the land and its creatures. Thanks for you for visit and for your patience.
